This price includes the ride in the balloon, the transportation to and from the launch site, the flight time, and the champagne breakfast after the flight. Decide with your partner as to whether you would like to be in a balloon alone (if you are a couple) or if you would like to share the experience with a few other people. If you choose to be with a few other people, then the cost per person would be around $120. However, if you prefer to be alone in your balloon, then the cost per person would be around $170.

What to Expect During a Flight

The ride in the balloon is quite peaceful and serene. It is a quiet experience, unlike what one might expect. There is no motor sound, no wind noise, and no engine vibration. You will be standing inside the balloon with your feet on a grate on the floor of the balloon and holding a handrail for support. They were wonderful to work with and made sure that we had an excellent experience. We booked our flights for a Thursday morning. The company picked us up from our hotel and drove us to the launch site. They provided us with a light breakfast (graham crackers and juice) before the flight. The champagne breakfast that is typically provided is only provided if you choose to be in a single balloon. The flight lasted for about one hour and 15 minutes. The landing time is when the balloon pilot decides to land. The company provided us with a bottle of water and a Turkish pastry after the flight.
